Here you can learn more about an important part of our ministry that focuses on providing educational opportunities and exposure to the Gospel for underserved students in Cambodia.
The Khmer (Cambodian) word Plas Prai means “transformation”. The Plas Prai Center High School Dorm exists to serve high school students in the Cambodian countryside who live more than 7 kilometers from a public high school. Their families do not have the financial resources to rent a room near the high school for their children. . . .
. . .The Plas Prai Center provides a safe place for these students to live while attending 10th through 12th grade. Students receive uniforms, a bicycle to ride to school each day, school books, three meals a day and extra tutoring in their major subjects. In addition, because our faith compels us, we take the opportunity to share the love of Christ and the message of salvation through Him with these students. Small group studies, involvement in a local church, one-on-one mentorship and seeing the gospel lived out daily through the staff give the students an opportunity to really know who God is and what his plan of salvation means. The vast majority of these 36 students come from villages where there is no gospel witness.
And so, we believe God has called us to meet two needs through this dorm ministry: 1) provide the opportunity of a high school education, and 2) provide the opportunity to hear and understand the gospel. Each year more than 85% of our seniors pass their final exams, far above the national average. And each year about 4-6 students choose to be baptized.
Our World Team Preah Vihear team is blessed to work with dedicated Cambodian national missionary partners and volunteers. Together we are able to daily serve the students on site. However, we need partners who will commit to praying for these students and providing the resources needed for their stay at the dorm. Sponsorship for one student is $80 per month or $960 per year. If you would like to partner with us in this way, or if you would like to give a one-time gift toward this work, please see the Sponsor Liaison and Support Link information below.
Thank you for your interest in what God is doing in Preah Vihear Cambodia through the Plas Prai Center. We are grateful!
A safe place to live, a caring and dedicated staff and three meals a day.
Uniforms, bicycles for school, text books and extra tutoring in major subjects.
Gospel exposure, small group studies, local church attendance, discipleship and staff examples.
All students have been sponsored. Thank you for your generous support and investment in these precious lives.
We still have a need for one time gifts outside of our sponsorships over the next two years which will enable us to increase our food budget and balance our budget.
If you aren't able to support a student financially, please considering praying for one of these young people as they finish their high school education and are exposed to the life-changing gospel.

Chetra trusted Christ as his Savior after watching the staff on campus live like Jesus. He was also touched by the testimony of a visiting short term team member who showed him how we can trust God through very difficult circumstances. When Chetra finishes high school, he plans to work in Japan at a factory with one of our other students for a year or two to earn money to help his family.
Malai is a confident and well-spoken young woman with a passion for evangelism since she came to faith early in her first year at Plas Prai. Muntha has watched the leaders at the Plas Prai and admires their ability to stand for their faith. She has faced persecution since coming to faith herself in 10th grade and this has inspired her to go to Discipleship Training School when she graduates to establish a strong foundation in her walk with the Lord. From there she will seek the Lord as to her path for the future.
Phannat has been a diligent and faithful servant leader and hard worker while at the Plas Prai.
